Who will bottle it?

Inevitably, there's always a big team that doesn't meet expectations and falls out at an unexpected time to an unexpected team.
Take for example 2010, where both Italy and France failed to get out of their group.
England in 1950, Italy in 66, the list goes on. Who will it be this year?

I think Brazil won't find it easy

They are probably getting Spain or Holland in the round of 16. I assume they are the favorites (even though I think even Everton matches up well against their side) but I could see them going out then.

Probably Belgium is the most likely to bottle it with their injuries and recent run of form. Their young players all just went through a long season and may not be ready yet.

I could also see France not getting out of their sad sack group.

I can see Spain or the Netherlands not making it out of the Pool with Chile going instead.
Perhaps Portugal too

Probably Holland - they will lose to Spain, and Chile could pose problems (is that a high altitude match between Chile and Holland? If so, I'd say they're doomed)

Fourth from four in the group.

Imagine that.

lol

Pretty certain that Chile will go through given that they have the outside advantages. Spain vs Holland will decide who joins them and I would love for Holland to win that one and send the Spanish packing early doors.

Being South African, I tend to root for the Netherlands when it comes to World Cups (unless SA are involved, which isn't for long...) and Euros. While some "big" names are still around the Netherlands squad, I think Chile can be considered a better team right now. I wouldn't consider the Netherlands going out early as them bottling it at this tournament. In fact, I'd consider Chile going out early on South American soil as bottling it.

I think I'll say Russia with Belgium and South Korea advancing.

I can see Colombia failing to get out the group (not sure if that would be bottling it with Falcao out). It's been a while since they've been in a World Cup and I think the competition in their group is fairly tough.
