Who took points off of United and City

Still not as bad as Spain though, I guess.

30 points separated 2nd and 3rd in La Liga. For context, 24 points separated 3rd and 19th.

See I'm willing to give spain a bit of leeway because it's really close between 3rd and about tenth and those teams are all actually quite good.

It's not a situation where there are only two good teams in the league, it's just the top two are spectacular.

but can you say that either manc club were outstanding this year ?? thats my point.. in the past united have breezed past teams but this season they were really off the boil and city only shone on occasions on be fair..

United had 4 points more this season than last season and lost the league. They're better than last year statistically. Or is everyone else worse? :)

In the german league, the top two this year was the same as the top two last year. It's all very well complaining that City were untouchable but this is their first title in 40 odd years.

French leagues where the fun's at now the Lyon monopoly has collapsed.

Yeah, what happened there? And wtf did Lille and Montpellier come from? Montpellier ffs! Everton would well win the league in France. Can we do a Wimbledon and relocate to Nice or somewhere??

Lyon lost alot of their best players in the last five seasons, when they were most dominant they had players such as Juninho <--god, Malouda, Essien, Benzema, Pjanic, Toulalan, Ben Arfa and Abidal.

Too lose all of them and not really strengthen the team afterwards would be destroying.
