Who is the least gash of our back up strikers?

The least hideous option if Rom is crocked?

BlueLlama

10/11/17 TWAIN CRUSH DAY
Enner "cheque's in the post" Valencia
Arouna Kone
Oumar Niasse

Has there ever been a sorrier set of "strikers" at our club?

So in the event that Rom is tired, injured or suspended who would you like to see up front? Debate their respective merits.

Deulefeu was tried up front and didn't cut it so not including him, likewise Kev.

I usually try and post positively but even i'm stunned by us not getting in a half decent back up striker. Even then we shouldn't be looking at "half decent" if we want to make genuine progress. Hopefully this will be looked at next window.

Niasse.

Least he can run round for an hour and be mobile. Kone has nothing now his pace has gone, Valencia is crap, least niasse can try hard.

To be fair we did make a play for 2 of them in Gabbiadini and Perez. Its a tough one because i would prefer us to buy players we actually want and have put some thought in rather than just bringing anyone in (On loan is fine..)

No doubt someone will mention Bony soon...

Kone can hold up the ball well. he does have that going for him.

Im not even sure Niasse is a striker. He is more of a wide man.

He had a long injury lay off and loan spells

He's still better than any of the other options

About time he was restored to the first team

Make it happen Ronald!

....I suspect he's certainly behind Calvert-Lewin and even Henen in the U23 pecking order. His appearances in the lower leagues suggest he's a long way off Premier standard and I'm not aware of clubs trying to buy him in the summer. Lads coming through will overtake him I fear.
