C-O-Y-S!!!!

Whats your feelings on your new ground in the sense that it may impact your spending in a similar way to arsenal before?

in the poll i went for arsenal simply becauae like @ijjysmith i dont want leicester getting anywhere near us short term over the nexf couple of seasons after this one and also if you guys win then youre further ahead of us...

if arsenal win it could mean wenger retires as hes said he would just quit when the time was right and ahrely no better time if he won.

Not sure whats the bigger story, leicester going from bottom to top in 12months or chelsea going from top to (near) relegation zone.

I wonder if chelsea somehow went down but leicester won the league what would be the bigger story.

I think we need City or arsenal to win the league. City as it puts extra pressure on Pep and the money would affect them and arsenal because wenger may quit...

Spurs and leicester winning would affect us more...and with Martinez building us up piece by piece we will be competing in a year or two and dont need anyone getting momentum beforehand.

The new stadium is already having an effect on our spending. I think we have had the lowest (or one of the lowest) net spends over the last 6 or 7 seasons (possibly longer).

I don't think the general public realise how big the NFL tie up is going to be for Tottenham. We are already one of the most popular Prem teams in the US and the NFL thing will make us huge there.

If we can get CL football for 2 or 3 straight seasons we will sell out the new ground for a decent number of games.

Essentially I'm an Everton fan and don't want another team over taking us. Leicester winning the league would be bad for Everton on my opinion.

I get this and don't want them to win it either, but I also think there's a very real chance all the hype and CL football would be too much too soon for them and they'll have, in comparison, a really tough season next season. Seems to happen quite often for squads that punch above their weight for a season. We found that in 2005 after we finished 4th and Liverpool after they finished 2nd in 2014, as a couple of examples. Spurs did okay when they eventually made it into the top 4, but they had been spending consitently and had a good sized squad.

I'll be stunned if Leicester stay in the top 4 next season. It'll be a completely different and more difficult task to replicate their achievements and there's not much of a lower limit as to how badly south it could go. Personally I don't believe 64 year old Ranieri became the best manager in the world overnight and would be surprised if their fortune with injuries went on much longer.

Could be mate. Plus the fact the normal big boys would be more determined than ever to ensure it doens't happen again.

If it's not Everton in NEA....... as long as it's not the laughables across the park obviously......... or Arsenal. I hate Arsenal and their obnoxious bellend of a manager.

Aye, I'm sure Chelsea, United and City (should they miss out on the title) will be smarting a bit and spend big (again) this summer. I think there are signs that the gap between the top clubs and the rest may be closing a bit though. Time will tell I suppose.

NFL tie up?

I've always quite liked Spurs and they have sound fans and I've loved watching Leicester this season.

That said, I'd be jealous of either of them doing it and not us when our squad is better than Leicester's and comparable to Spurs' so I'd rather someone more conventional won it. That's my honest opinion.
