Why don't we just:

- Go to the Argentinian league
- Buy any striker who scores at a reasonable clip and is under 26. Preferably from some gash lower-table team so they're cheap
- Get critical mass of hungry, unproven South American strikers
- At least one decent player emerges

I disagree a bit Eggo.

Having a focal point up front would make opposition players actually have to think about playing against us. We'd offer a threat of some sort.
At the moment we're about as focal up there as a blind cat.

It's not the only answer of course. But it would be a start.

..that’s certainly right, we definitely need a focal point option besides DCL. That will improve things but I fear there’s a fair bit more wrong. Fingers crossed we stumble on something that works.
