Sland fans are the most tolerable. Their bell to sound ratio is far above most other opposition fanbases, though it's still about 1:1.

The best away support I can ever remember at Goodison, Sunderland, May 1977. They had the entire Park End and needed a win to avoid relegation. We won 2 nil, they went down but their support was absolutely magnificent.

We have the best away fans, sometimes Goodison can be too quiet though.

In defense of Villa fans, its hard to get behind a team playing 9-0-1 for 90min even if they were winning.

I'd say Crystal Palace.

yeah, haven't gone to goodison for a good few years, but i did realise a difference when i started going to swansea, but it was always more like that in the lower divisons compared to the prem - there's also the fact that this was lateish 90's when we were very turgid.

having started going to everton aways last couple of years i can state that we're brilliant, limbs everywhere every goal.

I like Sland fans just because they're the opposite of Pardew and the looney tunes who support him.
Newcastle are hilarious to laugh at - the Joe Kinnear appointment in the summer, I was reading the Sunderland forums literally in tears it was that funny, especially seeing the Mackem's reaction - and I do hate Ashley and Pardew, no doubt. But when all's said and done I don't actually think I can find it in my heart to dislike Newcastle. Their fans are passionate, simple as. And I know it's easy to fill a stadium in a one-club city but at least all of those are proper fans, won't be finding many prawn sandwich day trippers; you know how in basically any Lancashire satellite town or anywhere like Bristol, Southampton e.t.c there are more people supporting Arsenal/Chelsea/Man U than the local team, you don't get any of that in Newcastle.
They can be nobheads though, no doubt.

In terms of foreign teams... that really will open a can of worms but go on then. Dortmund a good shout but there are so many out there, I think the Greek league has some pretty special atmosphere's, I like Panathinikos.

Always got a soft spot for Metalist Kharkiv after '08. Always remember their fans rocking the bullens road. 'META-LEEST, META-LEEST, META-LEEST'

P. Palace
C. Millwall
Non-League. Lewes
Foreign. Dinamo Zagreb. The Bad Blue Boys were absolutely immense at the Lane.

Sland and crystal palace for me as far as prem teams go
Championship: derby
League one: brentford
League two: Pompey fans
And as far as other cubs go met a few very sound Dundee fans at a random pub

That actually isnt the case. Most born and bred Bristolians will be either City or Rovers. Or neither, cos it is, or was, a strong rugby stronghold. But Bristol has tons of people living there who arent from the city. Apart from London, I would guess it is pretty high up the table in terms of non "natives" living there. If that makes sense.

But the kids of the incomers defo fall into the Sky 4 camp.

Palace lose points for the black-garbed cretins. My choices would be:

Sland
Huddersfield
Brentford
Portsmouth
Wrexham
