Which teams don't sell all their seat allocation?

Can't remember but was it segregated in the seating in the old PE back then?I just seem to remember they seemed to give the whole end seats and standing to the away sides!!
I dont think there was ever a clear policy on it to be honest, with it being pay on the gate there were a fair few games I went into the stand, certainly when the teams had a low following they tended to get put on one side of the stand then a gap then Everton fans

That stand used to look great before it was "bricked off" afterwards it always looked a little bit sad whenever the majority of teams visited with poor away followings, only came back to life for the derby games,Man U,big cup games etc.

Yeah I loved the Park end before it shrank,I ended up in there with Leeds after arriving late from my brothers wedding,me and 6 arl fellas plus a couple of 1000 Yorkshire men

A City the size of Newcastle and surrounding areas with only one team should be getting big attendances. Anyway they haven’t taken the full allocation at Goodison for a few seasons.
The city itself has three-hundred thousand in it and Tyneside has close to eight-hundred and eighty thousand, before looking at the whole Tyne-Wear area.

That's way over one and a half million, so selling out their stadium is not a remarkable achievement in the slightest; in fact, I expect that they should be selling out.

Was it a night match? If so it may have been Notts County early 1980's,I was in the old enclosure up by the Park End,god love them they were mainly old fellas in flat caps and the "lively lads" of the enc back in the day ripped them mercilessly lol
I randomly went to Bournemouth v notts county in the 90s and they had about 50 fans. One of which was a dog who the owner had walked with from Nottingham.

Just wondering which are the teams that return tickets because they don't sell all their allocation? I bought a single ticket which is restricted view in the upper Gwladys for the Norwich City game this Saturday when they first went on general sale. I really wanted 3 together but none were available. 2 weeks later I get an email from Everton telling me that Norwich have returned a large amount of tickets, all their upper Bullens allocation in fact. If I'd know I'd have held off and got the 3 I needed. I now know Norwich return tickets, and Watford, who else so I can plan for the next time this happens. Cheers for any replies.

It can obviously change depending on circumstances quite quickly and also the day/time of the game can dictate, but i'd say currently:

Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Spurs - would sell the full allocation any day or time

Villa, West Ham, Newcastle - would sell the full allocation unless it is a midweek game

Wolves, Leicester, Sheffield United and Burnley - would probably sell the full allocation for an afternoon weekend game, but probably not for an early kick off and definitely not midweek

The rest - very rare they'd request or sell the full allocation.

So about 7 teams are unlikely to sell all their allocation. Depends on how teams are doing though and whether the game changes time or day.

Villa's away crowds were dropping off massively before they got relegated but they had a boost when they went down and they have been selling out the majority of the aways everywhere they go for a few years now, and West Ham's numbers are almost as strong as ours since they got the new stadium and the demand has risen due to the amount of season ticket holders. The Geordies would sell 3,000 every time for a Saturday 3pm, the only reason they haven't brought the numbers more recently is due to the fixture list handing them our game away midweek.
