Bilko

Player Valuation: £35m
Nearly at the end of the season and with coverage of our national sport dominated by the premierships top 6, just a thought on other clubs up and down the country who have had a remarkable season or otherwise.

two stand out for me, Burton Albion surviving in the Championship is quite remarkable, how they have stayed in a division where their competitors all far bigger clubs is surely the story of the season.

Fleetwood town, ran 2nd place right to the wire and have ended up in the play-offs, 5000 crowds ,googled fleetwood, a population of 30,000 , won 50% of their games. impressive

big losers are probably Leeds United, just as it looked like they were in the mix, Ipswich Town had a horror also, big Mick out as they seem to of gone backwards. Anymore.

Preston
Brentford
Burton
Bury
Rochdale
And for the most unfortunate fans ;
Blackpool
Excelled for various reasons
Losers
Man City
Leeds
Villa
Forest
Birmingham
Coventry
And poor old Orient
Genuinely feel for brum and orient fans

Big Mick has done a remarkable job at Ipswich given he's had sod all of a budget.

One of my best mates is a rabid Bolton fan, so I'm made up for him and his daughter that they got automatic promotion... especially given the financial constraints their manager has had to work under, he's done a terrific job.

I'd argue it has to be

Overachievers.

Huddersfield
Fulham
Reading
Burton
Fleetwood
Scunthorpe (although they'll be hugely disappointed as they were storming the league at one point)
Oxford
Bristol Rovers
Blackpool (controversial... but they're in the playoffs, and have worked on a shoestring)
Exeter

Underachievers
Birmingham
Notts Forest
Norwich
MK Dons
Port Vale
Coventry
Leyton Orient
Hartlepool

Burton Albion staying up is spectacular. I think their ground only has about 2000 seats and everyone else is on terraces.

Wimbledon almost finished above MK which would have also been a huge accomplishment.

Leeds, lol.

big shout out to hull if they survive, they started the season with just 1 first team player on the bench and then their record signing suffered that horrific injury. They then sold arguably their two best players in snodgrass and livermore in january.

Brighton take the trophy for me though.
