I feel we now need two centre-backs,

Senderos and Taylor would be my picks in an ideal world.

I maybe would go with Distin and Senderos.

Both good and cheap. One older and on his way out, the other has potential and is young.

Distin can play left back too.

Both for about £12million.

Dont forget we're supposed to have a future German international centre half in Mustafi in the youth team/reserves also.

Hangeland is a good shout, but could be pricey.

I'd go for Taylor, problem is, no matter who we get, Cahill, Taylor, Hangeland... It's going to take a massive chunk of our new found riches.

And if we are getting Billy boy for £10 million then just two signings could amount to the whole fee received for Lescott.

To be honest I'm forming opinions without really knowing much about any of them really, I remember Wheater looked good against up in the league last season but thats about it.

I voted Shawcross because he's so young but I like Gary Cahill as well. LCAB reckons it's Taylor though and I'm starting to see him as quite the oracle.

None of them are even close to Lescott, so I voted none.

I would prefer us to buy somebody like that young lanky German lad we got linked with.

Surely there are better CBs in the world than the names listed above.
