Would've been the longest thread title ever in the history of GOT, but this forum wouldn't let me.

Question is, which 3 clubs would you like to see promoted to the Premier League and which Conference team you'd like to see promoted to the Football League?

For me it would be Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United who I've got a big soft spot for (for different reasons). Third place would be between Leeds United and Wolves. Probably like Wolves more, but Leeds is the bigger of the two, so will vote for the 'Lillywhites' here.

As for the Conference. I've been coming over for the August bank holiday weekend in England for quite a few years now. Me and my mate earmarked bank holiday monday as 'Conference Monday'. Love that league tbh and the club that touched my heart the most is Kidderminster Harriers. There just was a click with them. The train journey from Birmingham certainly has played its part in that. Also would like to see Barnet getting back into the football league.

conference i dunno but id like Forest, Wednesday and Tranmere.

Forest and Wednesday for nostalgic reasons as i think its not the same without those names in the top flight. Woukd have mention qpr or coventry for the same reason but dont much like the clubs they are now.

Tranmere because well...another derby would be great!

Forest Green Rovers.

NEA about the Championship really. But if pushed, Yeovil Town.

Bolton, Forest, Wednesday. Leeds can stay down :bye:

Conf: Luton cos I started watching footie in the 80s. Mindboggling that they're in the 5th level but seems like they've got promo sewn up. Otherwise Braintree Town.

Anywhere with an airport that does cheap direct flights from/to Belfast, so Nottingham Forest, Birmingham & Bristol City would do me

Donny Rovers & Wolves. Mainly due to mates supporting them.

From the Conference I can't say anyone but Barrow.

TO Prem: Nottingham Forest, Reading, Wigan (although would swap Wigan for AFC Wimbledon if L1 or L2 teams counted)

TO the Football League: Wrexham, Luton (think of the third later)

Wednesday,Ipswich & not pushed on a third team,i'm a bit of a traditionalist so Burnley if anyone

conference I use to watch Hereford United a few years back ,keep an eye on them now, look more like relegation or even going out of business altogether

Both Bristol clubs and Yeovil Town as they're the nearest to me so it'd be three easy away games.

If we're going for traditionally big clubs then Leeds, Sheffield United and Forest. Ipswich deserve a shout, too.

Looking at the conference it's difficult to be arsed, really. The former conference teams I used to watch as a kid (Kettering and Rushden & Diamonds) have gone down the pan.
