Ay dont dis oatcakes stokes best thing . As a stokie i dispise stoke and would choose vale all the time . Burslems a **** ole by the way . Dont pass through there its muslim central

So are you saying it's a no go area mate because of the Muslims ?
I've been in Openshaw all afternoon which also has a large Muslim population, I didn't encounter any problems apart from someone thinking I was leaving as I was sat in my car, she went off on one cos she was waiting for me to shift, she was of local extraction but although I couldn't vouch for her religion I'd say it was +50% chance that she was christian.

Isn't the BNP big in the Stoke political scene ?

Ahh i think i put it a bit to strong . What a ment to say is i wouldnt recommend passing through there as its a ruff area of stoke it has mixed groups of people but most are muslim but there is the occasional trouble around there

Burslem is fine and to suggest Muslims areas are intrinsically troubled is silly. It's just very run dpwn due to socio-economic changes and neglect. Stoke makes me laugh, each 'town' or area all say the other is 'rough' or trouble.

And Reidy, yes the BNP did recently have some success in local elections, but people have realised they are as useless as the mainstream parties in power. Get the impression it was a protest vote against labour as much as anything.

I've possibly clocked you (or another Evertonian) wandering around Hanley-duck on a Saturday arvo - do you ever wear an Everton home kit out and about? I always think "he's brave" given some of the crackheads the Potters and Vale have always ready for a fight...
may-haps you viddied a differ blue clad chello swanning a hanley breville me duck. half-a-bob on the noggin your glazzies was off or the vale-ites was off placcy bag fillin and busy all arvo

As i said before i put it abit strong in my other comment . The muslim Are not the problem but i say that if you have never being to the area then be warrey of trouble and keep your head down and dont start any trouble . Buslims abit mixed and as alot of stereotypical around the town . And as for your comment about each town says another towns ruff i cant comment on that as i live in newcastle under lyme next to stoke

Pah missed the Southall photo.

I saw him play for Stoke against Norwich the season they went down to the 3rd tier (whatever the fook it was called that year). Loads of their fans were moaning their bags off about him because he'd made a mistake the previous week or something. I explained to them that, even at the end of his career, he'll win you more games than he loses you. He was good that day, clean sheet, knowing glances at the end of the game.
