ffs any great centre back should be able to read a pass like the one for villa's goal, especially when its right down the middle of the ******* box. and distin wasn't even running to cover it.

i don't think distin is a bad player but its painful to watch errors like that knowing that the world cup runner up and far and away one of our best players (and almost highest earner) is on the bench. what's going on?

edit: and i know people will say it was fellaini's fault for missing the first ball but if the centre backs had done their job we wouldn't have conceded

thread withdrawn, this seemed like a big deal 10 minutes into the game but at that point i had still thought the worst we could get was a draw, now that seems like only the tip of the iceberg
