he will be in a knocking shop in the next half hour when he leaves finch farm.loves the midnight masses does the lad

In all seriousness, this kid has talent, and we're not playing him, sooner or later he will want out and then I fear Moyes will realise what an asset gueye could potentially be

I really thought this would be the season where he got blooded into the team more, first off by being a impact sub and then take it on from there but he did pick up an injury late pre-season that as set him back, again!.

I still think he'll come good for us though and that Moyesy is still probable debating where he'll fit in for us, wether it's out wide, off the striker or upfront?. For me he could play anywhere in the 3 behind the lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

now i don't want to sound to optimistic here, but isn't it a good sign that gueye isn't making the bench, because with players like him and barkley missing out, surely it shows that we're getting a strong team with a little bit of depth now

He played 90 mins in the last reserves game, so he appears to just be out of the squad on form/fitness/ability. If you watched his cameo performance against WBA in the Carling Cup you can understand why Ossie still walks in to the team out wide.

Having said that, I'd expect him to be on the bench again midweek.
