The Wirral thread got me thinking , I'm a WOOL so I've been informed
I can't go back that far in generations but there was a big gap in generation years , world wars I imagine.
Mum and Dad both born in 1917 , Liverpool , Both sets Grandparents born Liverpool , Great grandparents (Mum) born in Ireland , in the north but way before it became Northern Ireland , Great grandparents (Dad) Herefordshire .

I'm from the town of Youghal in County Cork. It's a small town with a population of about six thousand people.

My mum is from the town as well, and my dad is from County Galway. He's from the Aran islands, which really are a beautiful part of the world.

My grand parents and great grand parents were from Youghal and the Aran islands as well.

That's as far back as i can go, but i have people who are related to me in the UK USA and Australia as well.

Edinburgh is a great city. It's a much nicer city than Glasgow in my opinion.

We've traced our father's ancestry back over 200 years, from Somerset, to Wales (my great grandfather helped construct the snowdon railway), then onto the Wirral, Eutopia. My mother hailed from Liverpool, nuff said.
