Hi. I'm back again.

So Everton lost today. A little disappointed. I wanted Everton to pip Arsenal to 4th. With the remaining fixtures left, it seems less likely for Everton now.

But i don't think any Everton fan would be hugely disappointed with this season. Afterall, you guys have already eclipsed your own PL points record right?

But, without the funds of UCL, and the attraction of CL football, there will always be a gap between the top 4 clubs and the clubs outside of the CL.

Will Lukaku stay at Everton without CL football? Even if he wants to stay, will Chelsea loan him out to Everton again, especially since Mourinho, or Moanrinho has been moaning about his 'lack of strikers' in the past month or so? Martinez wants to buy 5-6 players. His alleged summer budget is 25m.

Lukaku would probably cost 25m.

Gerard Deulofeu. He's a real prospect. But Tata Martino's job is looking far more insecure with each passing week. It looks likely Tata will be sacked. When the new manager comes in, i think it'd be reasonable to say that the new manager would want to have all his out on loan players back at the club, assess them in training, and then further decide after the World Cup what he'll do with them, to loan or sell them , or keep them.

And, Deulofeu has publicly stated that he wants to return to Barcelona after the end of his Everton loan stint.

Gareth Barry. His performances has been commendable, after being thrust out of the spotlight at Manchester City. But he's 33. He will probably demand wages that will not be realistic without the funds from UCL football.

Just curious, where do you think Everton will be next season, if these 3 players, who have been so important for Everton's season this year.

Obviously Martinez will reinforce, but it's hard to imagine that when you are going to buy 5/6 players with 25m, there isn't going to be much quality, or at least we don't expect them to be lighting up the Premier league with their performances.

Deulofeu hasn't been that important. Barcelona have been hit with a transfer embargo anyway, and I believe that also covers loans.
I think Barry is all but signed, at his age he's got to be realistic about wages.
I think we'll be fine. Lukaku isn't the only striker out there.

My main concern is that United and Spurs will get their act together. I can't see us lower than 7th.
