Just got back from the den, good pub that! They had the United game on one tv, some Chinese basketball on another and us on a third. Packed it was! Missed first half because I couldn't find the bleeding place, but got there before second had started. Beer nice and cheap too.

Ps - absolute dump Beijing! Plus it stinks to high heaven. Wasn't impressed on my first day here but got another five yet so hope to discover the better sides to the city. Next three days = checking out markets, bird's nest stadium, going to park and lake, visiting the great wall...roll on Friday to go to North Korea!

Can I just point out that when I get ripped and called Whicker that I'm not half as bad as @butters or @the esk.

Thank you.

Easy to tell the difference between Chico and Whicker. Here's a helpful picture of the two taken years ago.

It's an absolute poo hole isn't it butters. Try and get to the stadium at night, otherwise it's a long trip out for not much. Could go to the palace as well, that's pretty good.

Last train to airport leaves dead on full time... so gotta play it cool. Hopefully we're nine up at half time and I can take a relaxing stroll to the station at HT.

Coyb!
