Afternoon everyone.

I am buying tickets for a friends birthday, all tickets available say view obstructed, not knowing Goodison i was wondering if anyone could recommend where to sit from the following

upper Gwladys
Lower Gwladys
Lower bullens
main stand
upper bullens
top balcony

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Depends what you're looking for lad. Lower Gwladys is where the majority of the chanting and atmosphere is made. Bullens has got quieter and quieter over the years. Main stand and TB is really just an extension on the family enclosure, with a few claps here and there. So go for gwladys if you wanna be loud!

thanks for the response, lower Gwladys sounds good, my main concern was how obstructed is the view.

if you want to enjoy the game and be on the pitch then paddock is a good idea. I like to sit there when possible, touching distance of the action and get a front row and no obstructed views.

On the website the club offer a facility "view from my seat" or something like that, I think you choose your stand pick the seats and then can check what the views like (well roughly) before you make the final purchase.

My personnel prefrence is always the upper Bullens because I find its gives the best viewing angle of the pitch and play, but like Jake says above, they all offer different experiences.

I've only been once mate, third row from the front in the paddock about 10 m from the corner and the Gwladys, great experience. Got a good view of most of the play, was close enough to harrass the linesman or corner takers and got a good atmosphere, not to mention: a view of the atmosphere around you. It was like orchestra seats for watching the Gwladys support!

What ever game it is you are aiming to get tickets for don't leave it to long to get them otherwise you may be left with no choice at all
