Moyes signs Yakubu for 11m? No fanfare, infact the opposite. Souness signs Luque for 13m - and he has sank like a stone, and 3 managers have been and gone since.
I know not championship, but just saying that it takes professional judgement, and Moyes has it - many don't.
But to further illustrate the quality that does lie in the Championship. 2 lads from Southampton - Walcott and Bale, both quality - especially Bale. May cost a bit, but at least your getting quality and not unknown quantities like Voronin.
