Eredivise is about right, couple of teams who might get a win or stay up in the premier league, apart from that - championship to league one.

Where would you say it ranks in the leagues of 'the Americas' ?

If I watched more of it, I could offer a better opinion, but I don't. There are many useful individual players in the ranks and it is not as squalid as it once was, but it's like the difference between the MAC and the SEC, in American terms (this was an American question, after all...)

I agree that it's about Eredivisie level. To be honest, I see quite a bit more people wearing Premier League/Real Madrid/Barca gear as opposed to MLS gear. Not only that, but our major sports network(ESPN) covers BPL more in depth than MLS.

If MLS wants to get good, they need to bring in stars. There trying to somewhat, but not enough. Who is going to choose watching Dom Dwyer over Wayne Rooney?

I think they also need promotion and relegation. I'd follow it a lot more if my city had a 2nd/3rd div team.
