Player Valuation: Free Transfer
What are your thoughts on how the club can go forward from here? Martinez? Time to find someone new? These potential new buyers? Any potential new signings?

There's no point bringing in a new boss until the end of the season seeing as Rom, Stones, Mirallas, possibly Barkley and Geri will be going anyway. That way we can offer a new boss a strong chance with a big transfer budget.

I'd bet a large amount of money not all of them will leave. The first two are very likely to go though.

I think showing some ambition would be good. Replacing Martinez with a respected manager as an attempt to show our best players that a) mediocrity is not good enough, b) we have ambition and are prepared to back up words with actions and c) they will now get to learn how to defend.

Sadly it won't happen as ultimately we do not have any real ambition. Sacking Martinez and hiring a top manager may be expensive, but if it means our top talent sees that we're not happy being mid table and that we have genuine ambition, then it's worth it. I fear that once one of them leaves they will merely be the head of a tragic conga line.

Seriously as devastated as people feel it is time to examine things with a clear head.
Positives.
We have a talented squad
We are talking about fine margins in nearly every game we've dropped points
The manager has brought in the kind of real quality that people had been crying out for under Moyes.
This team looks capable of freely scoring in most games with fluent football
Negatives
They show a lot of naivety in defence
Their heads can drop when things go against them.
A keeper that has lost the faith of fans and possibly his defence.
Constant fear we will lose our best players
And the big negative... even if we sort out the other negatives we are in a league where trophies hardly ever are won outside four or five clubs with a lot more cash than us.

I think the first two negatives are very solvable and could easily sort themselves as a young side grows up.
The third one is bizarre and is becoming the main reason people are struggling to defend Martinez
The fourth one is not solvable while the final negative is true but it is exaggerated by fans and meditation could help.
At the moment the potential the positives create means I would not consider any huge change at the club. I'd just encourage Martinez to look for another couple of characters like Funes Mori, maybe with a little more experience. It'll do wonders

Big overhaul coming up if Bobby wont turn this around fast.
