First of as this is my first ever post!

Saying Hi is vastly appropriate, so HI!

basically my question is as the thread title suggests!! where has the chanting, the banter with the away fans gone from the Park Stand?

as a kid i remember every game shouting, singing, laughing at the fat man with his top off in the away stand! and now its like the Gwladys street starts it the the Park thinks about following!! I know it hasn't always been this way. Having had a season ticket once upon a time ago, in both stands at some point or another until recently! when work has dictated although not anymore, as I really could careless about the place.

Now normally when i'm buying tickets I always look for the Gwladys Street tickets first! but for the refusal of sitting behind a post i always end up with Park tickets!

So i guess the real question is can we bring it back? anyone sit in the Park end regularly? anyone up for making the grand Old Lady rock from the newest stand?

I look forward to reading any replies! and over the course of the season your responses =)

Thank you for taking time out to read, what may be construed as Jibberish!

Singing as a whole has started to disappear.

The last game(Which was the Derby or something big) I can genuinely remember, everyone in the ground rocking and singing was oddly Leyton Orient 4-1 (Could the cup tie bring back the singing?)

Theres obviously been singing since then and the park end do start song etc... but the feel for the match has gone.

I genuinely hate when your told to sit down at the start of the match....

thats really true to be honest , when i was growing up i had season ticket in the park end and the banter with the away fans was brilliant but now when i look to get a ticket to the match i always look for lower gwladys street as the atmosphere is by far the best in the stadium.

it's there in bit and bobs! but not truly like it used to be.

as has been stated by General Disarray: at Big games or sometimes in cup matches against lower teams!

I would like to add night matches are pretty immense too! but on the whole against the struggling teams in the league, the place just seems empty!

I've got a season ticket in the park end and if it's a match against anyone "big" or anyone who's around our level, there's plenty of banter! Newcastle last game showed that, the game with spurs and city last year were class as well for the banter

The Park End is for people who hate football and people in general.

In short: I love it there. Leave the hostility and zanyness to the Gwlady and get tutting.

Thats why I love the Gwladys.. You get chucked out if you are not wearing this seasons replica top, you can wee through an Echo on each other and we sing zany songs about players who don't play for us anymore. BARRRYY HOORRRNNNEE

Who cares is you have an 80% obstructed view, we are a wacky lot.

I'm a tutter.
You got a problem with that mate ?

Apart from that, what other people have said,we tut to a tune against the bigger teams but don't like to wake the main stand up when playing against smaller clubs. I'd go in the Lower Gwladys but somewhere alongthe line I've turned into a grump who prefers to see the game rather than the back of someones head. Sat in the Gwladys for Hibbos testemonial though .. which was boss but missed two goals through being a short arse.
What was the question again ?
