Unless all the overseas tv broadcasters just turn their back on the league there's no reason to think the trend won't continue. How long would you have to go back before you thought our first 50 million pound deal would be done? 4 years maybe? Rate of these transfers I'd say maybe 3/4 years. I'm going to go with August 2nd 2022 at 5pm

I don't know when but I guarantee it'll be on transfer deadline day for a player who was going for £60M a few weeks previously.

Never. Football will come crashing down before then. Soon as Sky goes bust.

Really? NFL & NBA have had ludicrous amounts of money chucked at their sports and neither seems in ill health and are instead constantly pushing harder into new territories. In the unlikely event Sky go bust there's a queue of companies who will willingly get into an auction for the rights.

Never, hopefully...it's out of control and all of football needs to get a grip.

I'd say fans who are willing to pay the extortionate amounts asked for in terms of subscriptions, ticket prices and merchandise need to get a grip. They're the reason there's so much money sloshing around.

Yep. People can can blame sky as much as they want, but where do sky get their money?
