When I was a student in Liverpool I lived by the Anglican Cathedral, there were loads of prostitutes round there, but they were a bit rough and in the back of my mind i always thought "what if they take me somewhere and I get beaten up and robbed, or worse?" So it was always easy to say no. Having said that I have been to Amsterdam and wasn't tempted there either, so perhaps it's just the idea of all those fellas that they have shagged and the horrible diseases they might have.

I've been approached by 2 prostitutes in my lifetime, one in Wycombe, she was a ginger so obviously it was off the cards before she even opened her mouth (so to speak). The second was in Soho and was clearly a tranny, she/he propositioned about 5 men in about 10 seconds and after being turned down by all of them went absolutely mental and had a bit of a meltdown in the street at about 4am.
