I know Harvey was offered the job straight out but was there any talk of anyone linked to come in.

It was a different time. Loads of managers in England and Europe would love to be offered the opportunity to manage us. It was romantic and right to give Colin a chance . But reality, hindsight and all that, it was never going to be the same.

Could understand Howie's reasons for going,but personally I thought he still had the opportunity to build a dynasty here,I was gutted he went at the time.
