Awesome, lid.
Besides Everton and the beautiful game in general, the automotive world is also of great interest to me. I'm also of the belief that you can tell a lot about a person by the car they decided to purchase. So, your wheels, your whips, your piles of steel on rubber, show them to me. Or, if you're not so proud of your vehicle, feel free to add what you'd get if your ride met an untimely end tomorrow. Or, if you want to just talk cars in general, I'll happily oblige. I'll start:

This is my 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL, in full suburban office park glory. For those across the pond, I don't think you get this model or anything like it. Later models of the Altima are very similar to the Renault Latitude, but this one is on a different platform. It's a pretty standard fare D-segment sedan/saloon, albeit with a tad bit better handling than your more pedestrian Camry.

It wasn't my first choice vehicle (I'm partial to Mopars myself) but I was time-constrained in having to secure transportation to a new job out in the suburbs, and was financially constrained after being out of work for the summer.

I'd say it turned out well, though. Got a screaming deal on it because the dealer I bought it from was too lazy to clear an airbag light. It was in a minor accident, but the repairs were well done. Just nobody bothered to clear the code. Their loss, I saved over $2000 off the market value of it.

If this vehicle were to meet an untimely end, I'd probably throw the insurance check down on a Dodge Dart (Alfa Romeo Giulietta sedan/saloon) or a used Ford Fusion (Mondeo).

Nice car. I'm in a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. Not my truck below, but this is the color. Love this ride--exactly what I wanted. I had a 2-dr Toyota Tacoma but wanted a 4-door truck (for carseats and easy kid transport) and went to the Ridgeline. Almost 7 years now, no disappointments yet.

The one thing I always thought was a little silly about the Ridgeline.... Have you ever been in the situation where you're on the side of the road with a blown-out tire and a bed full of cargo, and have to empty it out to get to the spare?

Otherwise, always seemed like a sound ride. My dad has commented before that he wish it would have been out when he bought his Explorer Sport Trac in 2002.

Ford man, me.

For the longest time, y'all got much cooler Fords than we did Stateside. For most of the 2000's the Focus was a long-in-the-tooth Mk1 in North America.

Now that the new Focus and Fusion/Mondeo are over here, and we're sending the Mustang over, it's evening out.

Moved the post to another thread, but can put it back. To your question, never had that happen. But you must coordinate your loads. I've loaded the trunk and bed only to realize I needed the contents of the trunk first. There are a few other minor drawbacks, sometimes on unevenly slippery roads (crossing RR tracks in light rain) the AWD/stabilization kicks in and none of the wheels have power for about 3s, but nothing that make me dissatisfied.
