What's your very earliest Everton related memory?

My first match was against Chelsea 68/69 season on a Saturday 7.30pm kick off . Park End stand with my older brother. The week after getting knocked out of the FA Cup semis against Citeh. I was in my element, a kid that collected football cards and knew of almost every player in the 1st Division. We got beat 2-1 with Big Joe scoring a pen for us and Birchenall getting the Chelsea winner. No matter who we played in the 60's and 70's all 1st Division clubs had players that were household names. Priviledged to see great players like Banks, Charlton, Best, Law, Osgood, Chivers, Eastham, Moore.......like I said each and every club had top players like Stoke, Southampton, Leicester etc

Nobby Fielding didn’t sign me an autograph after a game in 1949 and I’ve had a hate-fueled grudge ever since.

Oh wait that was Dave’s first memory of Everton.
I was walking up Goodison Rd on the way to the boys pen and Wally Fielding and Bobby Collins were coming the other way. I was about 13 and said something a hero worshipping kid would say to Bobby. Wally, in his cockney accent just said 'f... off'. Bobby look a bit embarrassed and looked at me
with a sheepish grin on his face.

84 cup final. I'm 6 years old. My dad is RS. We go to basketball training in the morning but I know the cup final is in the afternoon and I want Everton to win. I must have decided earlier but that's the first time I fell expectation/ nervousness.
