Chelsea's start to the Premier League season has proved so comically poor it's easy to forget they topped the table throughout 2014/15 with pretty much exactly the same team.

No joined up thinking. How a club can send 33 players out on loan is ridiculous. How a club can recruit 50-60 players is scandalous. How you can hoard young talent and miss the likes of Stones, Galloway etc. How they can sell Bertrand, Lukaku, KDB - then spend ridiculous sums on back up squad players is just ridiculous.

I doubt anyone is in control at all at Chelsea.

The PL could lose the 4th place which is where the mighty Everton will finish this season hopefully so if English teams do bad in this years European competitions including Europa league btw fourth will be gone. Two defeats last night for the Manchester clubs as well

Why it would be in our interest?

There's a lot of European footie left to be played, but England is in serious danger of falling to 4th in county coefficient, meaning there would only be 3 CL slots for the Prem.

I've said it a million times that ultimately this is the biggest thing wrong with football.

Until some sort of hard cap is put in place on the number of players you can have under contract, this sort of madness will continue.

I think Chelsea has 81 players under contract.

We havent has 4 for years and we won't either, maybe a lucky year once in the next 5 years. So losing a place won't affect us. Would like to see the top clubs scrap over the top 3
