What's gone wrong with United?

Ferguson's first Scottish league title broke fifteen or so years of complete Old Firm dominance. They were then runners up two years in a row before wining back-to-back titles. It was quite an achievement for a team that had only won one title prior and none since.

Re. Moyes: might it be better for him to go out of the cup in the SF against Sunderland than get thrashed at Wembley by City?

Cheers for that info, I was not sure exactly whjat he had achieved up there, obviously quite a lot. So on cmoparison to our EX, makes the choice of him to be the new manger even more eye raising.

If United sell Rooney (which I don't expect), what are they chances they would have no players in the England World Cup squad? Seems like a lot of players who expected to be on that roster last year are squandering their chances.

*Well, there's Carrick too, but still...

Dave the football establishment (dullard press and pundits) are desperate to protect the Moyes myth these are the people glad-handed by Bill or hoping the whole "the coach needs time" homily will one day benefit them.

The idea of being paid millions year on year and feted as a miracle worker for laying out cones must be a dream of every mumbling ex pro.

Lower than a snake's hips the lot.

More trouble ahead, the times say Rooney wants to go to Chelsea.
By all accounts RVP wants out too, add to Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand and the summer looks massive for them, with no CL they might struggle to replace them lot with players as good as they all are/were in their prime.

It is now getting so difficult to pin point what is wrong at Man U. There are so many things to consider, boiling up into a huge problem for our EX to resolve.
