Given that the Olympics next year is being hosted by London, many of the Football games are on all over the country and teams will no doubt be being hosted by the clubs. Everton's Finch Farm complex is one of the best in the country for example.

There will also be other events and Liverpool will be looking to cash in and bring in the global visitors.

What planning has Everton Football Club done in order to tap into this?

In order to provide a memorable event for young kids who've never seen an Olympics, - not only that most people aren't old enough to remember a major sporting event like this being hosted here?

So come on Everton. What is the club planning?

How is the club planning to get the visitor's in and market the club with this event?

What do you want to see happening at Goodison, in the city and at Finch Farm?

*EDIT 12 months and counting. Any major business worth their salt would be planning events and marketing NOW.

Jesus Christ i hope you're being ironic about your own moronicness. What an absurd attempt at criticising your club. Do you know this thing called geography? And how Liverpool is 200 miles away from London and that the olympics aren't named LIVERPOOL 2012? Have you ever been to an olympiad? I haven't.. But i've spent time in a city about 200 miles away from an olympiad once. Guess what? Nobody there cared.

Very much this. It's a London event, plain and simple.

The *custodians* of Everton did **** all with the 2008 Capital of Culture, and you expect them to shift themselves for the London Olympics?

Pfffft!

There's going to be football matches on only down the M62. In MANCHESTER.

Guess it's not so London based - is it?
