What's changed Moysey?

that was probably true on the day, but i don't think that result is always consistent. sometimes when moyes moves neville out of defensive midfield we struggle, it happened that heitinga was up for it on the day and had a good game disrupting the attacks. i agree i think we play better as a 4-4-2, but it might be the novelty of it, rather than it simply being a better formation.

On the whole, when we've played with two strikers we've looked more potent. I think when we have a lone striker he's 'double marked' by the two centrebacks, so he comes away from the front to try and pick the ball up in space. That leaves us with no one to aim for. With 2v2 the striker only has to lose one man to get a chance on goal.

I agree that it doesn't work all the time. It was probably a combination of factors on the day such as the atmosphere, big Dunc's presence and Cahill being so fired up.

No pressure, expectations are pretty much zero = bold decisions will be made at times.

I think we need to see that type of action earlier in the campaign to declare he's turned a new leaf.

very much this!
