In all seriousness, a top level delegation from the club visiting Africa is long overdue.

Africa is football crazy and our visibility there is very, very limited.

From my time living and working in Nigeria, Sudan and Ghana, other than my own Everton shirts, I can genuinely only recall seeing two others, one in Sudan and one in Ghana.

Compare that to Manure, the RS and especially Chelski and Arsenal who are by far the two biggest in terms of shirt exposure and it's been long overdue for Everton to try and break into Africa somehow.

Of course, it would have helped if we'd done a pre-season tour of South Africa that was on the cards a couple of years ago, before we went to the USA again.
Raising our profile anywhere must be good.

finally someone talks a bit of sense

With the woman from EitC who actually seems to have a bit of 'Go' about her, not to mention connections, qualifications etc, brought in to the main stream running of the Club...I think Elstone will be moved sideways-ish sooner or later...some how.
