football itself is in a pretty healthy state apart from that, competitive wise. after a drab last world cup and then the domination of spain and Barcelona playing not the most asthetically pleasing of football, we are know witnessing an amazing world cup so far as well as having an amazing season in spain where atletico defied all the odds to win la liga and reach the CL final; a new challenger for the premier league title with next season looking like a possible 7 horse race; we had dortmund (another outsider) the year before doing the same as atletico with a league win and CL final and even this world cup, any team of about 6/7 could win it.
this isn't the same as greece boring their way to a shock euro victory as well it must be said, football is starting to turn into an attacking attractive sport again after imo a long absence.
we've moved forward to technology and inventive new products as well.
just sort out the diving and how much these pre-madonna "superstars" are getting paid ffs! salary caps, anything, just bloody do it!
