Fairly certain Srna will get a good contract somewhere if he doesn't stay on as captain of Shaktar but otherwise he would present a fantastic opportunity. Don't think we'd have the funds for him though.

Onuoha sounds a good shout, if only to put some pressure on Hibbert.

If Aimar could slot in that would be a pretty decent signing as well. I think we are more left with the second tier of creative minds though. There are quite a few possibles though, but probably you would need 8-10 mil to get a decent one.

Getting Drenthe signed up, and a creative hub in our midfield and then lastly a proven goalscorer should be our priorities in january imho, and in that order.
 
Banega/Fernandes for a midfield slot.
Piquionne for a grafting forward.
Pienaar/Krancjar for the left mid slot.

Piquionne is 32. THIRTY TWO if you do not understand that. Another Saha is something we don't need. I seriously don't get why you would want him here. Plus we don't need a striker at the moment, priority should be someone who's game is not hoofball, and Banega & Fernandes would both cost more than we can afford.

Hahneman's contract is up in January anyway.
 
Didn't realise Piqui was that old, can't we just send him to Yaks agent and suddenly he'll be 26?
