This answers the question for me. Anything that personally affects you.
Frankie Boyle appears to try and be conversational for the sake of it, it's so contrived.
Agree mate, but it's a minefield . What I find offensive might not be what someone else finds offensive. I hope that our own moral compasses lets us know what it's right and what is wrong. There were words commonly used years ago that were acceptable like, " Mong and Spaz ". Thankfully society has moved on and these words are no longer commonly used. It's the same with racist words too that used to be commonly used . I won't write them but you know the words I,m talking about.
So basically everything is OK unless its to do with something personal?
Not very noble is it?

I laughed today when I heard Finlands euro vision entry is a punk band..Is there anything that it is truly wrong to make fun of? Is there anything that you think deserves more respect? Is this because of personal experience or just opionions you hold?
Comedians like Frankie Boyle and Jimmy Carr rip on most things from race to disability. I like both of them personally but I know they are not to everyones taste.
Odd how some things that are truly horrendous such as child abuse seem to be fair game for jokes but others are off limits.
There doesnt sem to be much consistency either. Why do we joke about AIDS and ebola but cancer is a no-no?
Over to GOT.
