What should Moyes do..

Should Moysie stick with the same team that beat Man City? Obviously minus Victor who will probably be replaced by Saha..
With Arteta available having served 3 match ban and maybe Peanuts back from injury...Does he put both these players back?

IMO I think he should give the same team a go against Brum..putting Pienaar and Arteta on the bench..

Yeah, your prob right about Pienaar..him and baines are superb on the left..He seems to not fancy Yak for some reason..I would start with Yak too , but will probably be Saha..

Yeah it's hard to not play Pienaar if he's fit, him and Baines have been superb.

I'm not really sure why the Yak isn't starting, he was playing quite well before he got dropped.

And to be fair to Saha, when he came on last night, it was the first time I've seen him put some effort in all season, might be the ridiculous hair.

Bingo.

Pienaar causes division.

same as anichebe, heitinga.

the minute we start on a solid run is the minute we have a full compliment of players on the pitch who aren't running down their contracts or playing hard ball on signing an extension. You know, players that consider it an honour to wear the shirt.

Osman on the left.

Think about Arteta on for coleman as fellaini and rodders have looked ok in the centre.

Maybe just leave arteta on the bench; he needs a wake up call this season.

I see your point about Heitinga, but from what i have seen of Pienaar he has given full commitment on the pitch..Victor needs a good talking to..I would get Big Dunc in to sort that out..Osman played very well last night..

Not for me, Birmingham will be a different game and we will need to break them down. Pienaar should definitely play, and I wouldn't be against Arteta starting either.

anichebe is banned , jags is out and arteta is back.

i wouldnt start saha now anichebe is out . my only beef about last nights game was that lazy so and so.
now im not getting on his back just for the sake of it , but last night there must have been 5 or 6 situations where saha should have been the first line of defence and he just let players run away from him. he just didnt run back to make a tackle. at one point he literally plodded 2/3's of the pitch alongside a city defender from there box then stopped and let him have a free run at fellaini ( a man 1 bad tackle away from a red at the time)just outside our box. the man just doesnt play for the team and doesnt have the right work ethic imo.

so id rather play becks up top with cahill just behind.

then theres arteta coming back , would you split up fellaini and rodz ? i wouldnt !
id rather keep those 2 in cm and put arteta on either wing.
but we only have 1 fit cb , so either hibbert plays there (face it , he is a liability at cb ) or move fellaini or rodwell back.

personnaly looking at the situation id go with ...

...............howard
.neville rodwell distin baines
coleman fellaini arteta bilya
................cahill
................becks

sorry to drop osman , i think he was ok against man city , but i just think bilyaletdinov is a better player .besides , what was the point of buying a £9 million player if you aren't gonna play him.

give osman hibbert and pienaar a bit more rest time (all just back from injury) and bring them on as subs if needed.we have birmingham west ham stoke spurs and scunthorpe in a 13 day period , so we have to keep the players as fresh as possible.

I'm glad Bily isn't starting.

There's obviously major reasons why.

Either he isn't training hard enough, not producing on the training field, or his mind is somewhere else, if Moyes thinks he's getting less than 100% or isn't fitting in, he'll drop him.

Always good to see.

Obviously I'd like him to come good, but transfer fees and signings from foreign leagues shouldn't dictate playing time. Performance should. I've not seen enough from him to warrant a starting place this season.

Osman for me the preferred option.

I would go for that..I think billy needs a good run in the team , He will probably get that when Pienaar buggers off..But I would be very surprised If he starts with Beckford , It will probably be Saha tho unfortunatly..Hopefully he can start to show some goal scoring form..

I think Billy needs a good run in the team...He needs to get more prem league experience..I have watched some Russian league games and it's totally a different kind of play..More slower..

bily got 7 goals last season (all top draw corkers) and got us 10 points on his own.
him not playing is up there with the poor form of arteta and heitinga for the biggest let downs of this season imo.

his lack of game time is just shocking.

I would go with

Mucha, Howard
Coleman, Neville, Distin, Duffy, Jags, Baines
Arteta, Billy, Cahill, Piennar, Osman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Gueye
Yak, Saha, Vaughan, Beckford
subs Hibbert

It's a winning team, the future is 2-5-7-4

agree with this, birmingham will be very difficult to breakdown. i would like him to start with two wing backs in baines and coleman, use a covering midfielder and let our flair players try and break them down. if we start punting straight down the middle we will struggle.
