What position is our priority in January Transfer Window

I voted winger because I think we can gamble that Stones will be fit but in the last few weeks CB looks almost as important.

I went for a goalkeeper as he can be the key to the whole defence. I think mid-field is catered for with McCarthy and Besic, Barkley is our No 10 if he was allowed to play there, Stones and Jags will come good and we have young players coming through, a second winger is needed but not as much as a keeper. Joel is not good enough and it looks like Howard has reached his sell by date.

I dont think its really about which of those positions we strengthen, more about who we sign...

Voted winger as hopefully Jags/Stones will soon be able to reform their partnership that looked decent and we have some promising youngsters for the future.

With Atsu off to ACN we'll only have three wingers, two injury prone and another who is an erratic comfidence player and very few at the academy either.

1. Winger - Other than Mirallas the rest are crap. Would also make it a priority to get Kev signed up to a longer deal

1. Keeper - A solid keeper gives the defence more confidence and can really help the way you play. If we get a keeper who is good at distributing it will lead to a lot more chances on the counter.
2. CB - We need another young lad there, maybe start giving Browning a few more minutes to get more of a picture of what he is like. Any new centre backs need to be comfortable on the ball.
3. CM - I don't really think we are in drastic need for a player there, McCarthy, Barry, Besic, Osman, Barkley and Gibson (when he isn't injured) can all do a job there. Also the same as the above with Browning but for Ledson. Maybe get rid of Gibson and get another young lad in with room to grow who has an eye for a pass and can unlock defences with through balls.
4. No10 - We don't need one, we have a perfectly good one in Barkley, we just need to play him there (this would be solved by signing a winger). Also got Naismith, Eto'o and Osman who can do a job there.
