What next for Saha?

Wiki "He failed to score again for Everton, a drought that included 942 consecutive minutes of league football".

Maybe I am clouded by his last seaso but 10 hours without a goal shows just how bad he was.

Anichebe went 1000 minutes without scoring between 2010 and 2011. Difference between them is Saha actually did well for the rest of his career here, Anichebe was pretty bad for about 4 years.

Lol...

Saha doesn't pick the team, he plays the game to the best of his ability. If that isn't good enough it's up to the manager to decide not to play him or use him as a sub. You can't slate a player for playing in a certain way to protect himself from injury.

He literally had one bad season for us out of four and people are acting like he was awful. Ridiculous.

33 goals in 95 apps prior to his poor final season.

That's the point, there were many times during his career that he didn't perform to the best of his ability, as he just couldn't be arsed.

He was a decent player for us in the main (his last season aside) but his lack of workrate was a consistent theme even when he was scoring & looking a decent striker.

He used to infuriate me by laying the ball out to the wide man & then not moving into the box, he'd just loiter out wide on the edge of the area, strolling about. He lacked desire at times & his half of his 'injuries' were in his head.

This times a billion thousand and twenty

I don't care how decent he may have been prior to his last season.

Having to watch him and Tim Cahill partner each other week on week for the best part of 18 months made me want to slit my own wrists and drink whatever came out of it.

Victor being a bell end & well, being Victor & Saha being a lazy arse piece at times, aren't mutually exclusive.

I didn't say they were, was simply pointing out that saying Saha is the worst player to be in an Everton shirt when we've got a guy in our squad (never mind the decades before Saha) who has been worse seems a bit silly.

Oh right, I'd missed that post.

No he was far from the worst player in the squad, let alone in the 'all times'.

He was infuriating though, simply because when he really wanted it he was unplayable & his talent was extraordinary. The freezing cold January night game against Chelsea stands out for me, when he owned John Terry. The man could play.
