He admitted himself he can't run anymore. Thats enough for me to give him a wide berth.

Even Jelavic would struggle with no Pienaar, two defensive midfielders and Cahill behind.

Saha needed better support. He did okay at Spuds as he had loads of support.

Don't get me wrong, he's well past his best, but there's more to his poor return this season than just himself.

Agreed with RFUS. He'd be a great player to bring on for the last 20 minutes, and with some creative players behind he'd shine, and more importantly, look arsed.

Still, wages should be low. E.G £25k p/w.

He cut back on his running on purpose, to save his legs. He said himself he learnt to restrain himself and sprint more sparingly, and to be fair he wasn't injured nearly as much. In fact was he injured at all this year?

You can't blame him for wanting to be more careful, given his injury record and his age. Not everyone is built like Distin!
