As men rape women on a daily basis in this country sexual harassment is physically threatening to women - is that man's comment about wanting inside your knickers a joke or is he going to stalk and assault you?. Men on the whole do not feel that threat so a woman sexually harassing them is a totally different ball game. Women are more physically vulnerable and sexual harassment by men is about power.

It's self-defeating because the tables aren't 'turned' at all.

For the men in the video these are one-off encounters with a young, attractive woman who isn't remotely threatening. It's just odd or comical to them.

For some women, though, this sort of thing happens regularly - from adolescence through adulthood - from any number of men who may, in fact, be threatening.

They also have to put up with culturally ingrained anxieties and fears that men don't feel when approached by a woman like this.
