For Iijy. Did this on another forum and was actually surprised which one got the most votes from the American lids.

Not a fan of ferris buller if I'm being honest. Watched it because it's one of those films and didn't really enjoy it.

Love the breakfast club though. It's just one of those films that should be ****e but it is actually enjoyable. The baby now knows the simple minds from it playing it.before taking him.to breakfast club in the morning . One day he'll get the connection haha

This is the film that won going away on the other forum I'm on. I was surprised. I didn't remember loving it at the time, but I just went back and re-watched it and it's great.

Still Sixteen Candles for me. Long Duk Dong puts it over the top for me.

"Hey Fred, there's a chinaman on your lawn"

And here I thought die Deutschen were purveyors of American pop culture. When a dubbed version of How I Met Your Mother is one of the most popular TV shows... xD

is it? haha

not that I've heard of I Met Your Mother, either. Last time I had a telly was in 2005, but when visiting family yeah, it's half German pap and half awfully-dubbed American pap.

I kinda grew up in Blighty, tho'...were these films known in the UK too?

Iijy knows them. I'm assuming so. You might be a little young though.
