What is your definition of "Ugly American"?

A couple I know are in London on holiday this week and have not yet missed an opportunity to post a selfie or photos of all the typical tourist spots on Facebook. Now I like a few photos on vacation, but I don't share every one of them and especially not as they're happening. I feel like this is bordering on Ugly American-ness, though maybe I'm wrong here. What do you think constitutes an "Ugly American"?
