Performing under the highest pressure generally means only those small handful of key games per season which we never seem to win. The ones which matter most in terms of our progress and in terms of what we, the fans, care about most (derbies, starting the season well, cup games etc).

But you're right to vote for the no-spoon...I also suspect none of this is real anyway.

What? The solution is get Stevie P signed. We've solved the start of the season problem by having a proven goal scorer.

Good point about Jelavic. We have been looking for that proper threat up front for years now. Yak, saha, beattie, johnson all flattered to deceive and couldnt be relied upon to be the focal point of our attack on a consistent basis. You sensed moyes didnt trust them so we were always looking for the right formula. Hopefully jelavic can carry this form into next season from the start and thats the spine of our team sorted its then just getting the correct balance on the right hand side and i think we will see a very competitive everton from the kick off in august.

Newcastle are winning consistently in the league. Pompey & Birmingham have won cups. Spurs did well in the Champions League. These clubs have won a lot less than us over the year.

Yeah, Spurs have done it right. They're very similar to us but they've somehow stepped up that little bit more. We're not far behind them still.

i've never had to use the ignore feature on any forum before, but i can see why it's useful.

I have to say tho' it's trolling like this which doesn't do our forum any favours...there's only 2 other threads which are similar and they were both started after this one.

I wouldn't mind if the trolls were funny, but at least in this thread there's not even any good cracks from them.
