There's so many faiths that believe in so many different things, it's difficult to know where to start or what to believe.
Without getting morbid a lad who I became good friends with towards the end of his life ( pancreatic cancer got him at the age of 41 ), told me and his family that if there if was any possible way of him coming back after his death, he'd come back to us and give us a sign. He was totally serious when he said this during the last days of his life.
He's never come back and I genuinely believe that if there was ever someone who was going to come back it would be this this lad. He would've at least given his missus as sign as he truly loved her and his kids.
As far as I'm concerned you just go to sleep, but I'd never argue the toss otherwise with people who have faith as it's fine with me if they want to believe in the afterlife.
