Same one the last time this topic came up...waiting on the new MKV Supra reveal next month to see where I go next.

LM concept FFS...this isn't telling me what I want to know, Toyota. Don't make me Porsche.

Currently on our fifth Landrover Discovery, the Sport version this time as we are retired and there are only the two of us. I would prefer the white Lamborghini Miura I saw at the 1966 Motor Show but I couldn't afford it then and at around £1m for a P400, I can't afford it now. (Also, I couldn't get in it now - bad leg.)

Are Rovers as terribly unreliable in the UK as they are in the US?

They are nice cars like

From a non-Audi driver's point of view, it's definitely the larger / more expensive Audis that attract an unusually high proportion of inconsiderate / moronic drivers. Some of the smaller models appear to have indicators fitted, which is more than can be said for the entire Q range.

No, I can confirm even the A1 seems to make people drive like a c...

My A3 made me drive like one, I'll put y hand up.

The first Discovery lost its power steering, at an inconvenient moment. One blew a turbo hose on the M6 motorway. One developed a minor handbrake problem and one was totalled by an idiot who came through a gap in the central reservation of a dual carriageway. But they did large mileage, probably 150,000 miles for the first one but less for the others. And they always started first time.

Bought this Rover 45 for €450 just to get to work...only 55k on the clock even though its a 2002. Got a new timing belt just in case. Its so diddly with a tape deck, walnut dash and very big windows/maximum sight lines. Feel like a 60 yr old in it but I don't care...
