Player Valuation: £40m
It looks very much like Koeman will be our next manager. What do we think he can achieve at Everton over a 3 year period.
I think winning a cup is very possible, top 6 is also reasonable. I think less than that would be failure.

considering he is leaving a team in 6th who finish 3 points from a champions league spot

the next 2-3 years have to be a lot better than that, surely?

Like I said at the start of last season with Bobby..if we don't make Europa League as a minimum next season he has failed.

Sadly, the way we've been the last couple of years I'd be happy with a comfortable top half finish. Suppose it depends who we buy this summer tho.

I'll stick the caveat in at the start: I'd term true success - rather than simply doing a satisfactory job - as performing to a standard higher than one might expect. Therefore:

Season 1: minimum top 7 finish with either domestic cup win; or top 4 finish w/o silverware
Season 2: top 4 finish and a long European campaign
Season 3: top 4 finish and one of a domestic cup or CL knock-out stage

The above is not necessarily what I'd expect, but what I'd consider a good example of 'success' based on the reported resources at Koeman's disposal and the squad he'll be inheriting.

lol Alright Davey

In all seriousness- in and around Europe this season while we bed in new players, then onwards from that challenging (getting to finals) for cups and at least top 5, pushing for top 4. If we're doing that consistently in 3 years time, he can get his move to Barca, and we can go and get Simeone. :)

Come on Blues we've been brainwashed into thinking small. Ronnie will have at least £100 mil to spend, more if we cash in on Rom, happier players now with a host of kids coming through. Put yourself in Moshiri's shoes, investing that amount of money he will expect European qualifying as a minimum with domestic trophies a bonus, the question is how long will moneybags wait for success and will Ronnie be able to achieve it.
