We deserved that stadium. If this had happened the Red noses would have been devastated in their ageing, crumbling, pit.
We'd of been the undisputed pride of the city. BUT. too many red noses. We will always play 2nd fiddle to those across the park, thats why this stadium was never going to happen...thats why no one will buy us.

Years ago I went the game and my old man was presented with a glossy brouchure along with a WSAG with images of a redeveloped Goodison, with spiral walkways like the San Siro AND like 2 other options for a ground move. At the time I was only about 10-12 years old and my obsessions with stadiums had just started.
I had such high hopes. What the heck happened??? We've pretty much done nothing since I was 10 ffs.

couldn't raise £30 million and they pulled the plug on us very quickly. the money was meant to be ring fenced. gregg lost interest in everton soon after.
