What constitutes a happy new year for EFC

For me it would be winning at least one of the minimum of 3 derby matches there will be in 2018 if we can't win the fa cup, getting shut of Allardyce in the summer,getting a decent striker and the RS winning bugger all.
Is all that just wishful thinking ?

Totally agree with all of that mate and hopefully win the FA Cup.
 
Climb a bit higher in the League, Oumar Niasse to score a hat-trick on Friday in a 3-4 win for Everton (from being 3-0 down at halftime of course), and Everton to win the FA Cup. Seriously though, a decent League finish (7th or 8th place?) and a decent FA Cup run
 

Unfortunately I can't see much changing in 2018. We have a team that lack fight and will surprise me if they can conjure up a win on Friday. The FA Cup is our only hope of success this season and that is all it is - hope. The FA Cup run could provide a happier last 5 months of the season. Trips to Forest away or drawing 0-0 at Goodison against an Arsenal side that sees us taking 8000 down there on a Tuesday night for the replay is something that can change our mindset and give this season purpose.
 
Stadium confirmation at Bramley Moore Dock with designs and planning agreed. Our future success and reemergence as a leading club depends on this. Prepared to wait for on-field success although it would be nice. New Goodison has to happen soon.
 

Starting the new year with a win today against united. What more could I want for my birthday today? Oh and can I have a belated birthday present and beat the RS on Friday. That would be a dream start to the new year.
