I feel sorry for anyone working in retail having to listen to Christmas songs on loop for about 6 weeks

I was talking to a bloke last year that worked in a store similar to B&Q, they started playing Christmas songs on September 1st!

They’re generally all crap, but if you fancy yourself a song writer but only attempt to write one song, make it a Christmas one. The royalties are ridiculous. Slade brought out their song 50 years ago and Noddy still earns an estimated £500k to £1m every year in royalties, amazing when you think radios only probably play it for about four or five weeks of the year
