What boozers have we got for the semis

That question goes for London, too. Anyone know of any Evertonian pubs to watch the game in the Smoke? (I mean, I know every neutral will be a Blue for the day, like.....)

Ive just got off the blower to the Green Man and whilst they confirm that they will be 'Blue' on the day, they won't be showing the match. Interestingly he also told me virtually all the boozers around wembley have to shut by law on match days whilst the game is on.:o So back to square one, where can I watch the match as close to the ground as poss??

Isnt that ridiculous I'm sure when we had spoons few years back the match was on as few people on r coach watched it there ? clueless

Yeah they did Aimee although I heard Silverspoon got shutdown by the local constab. Anyway, I suspect they may have got round those pub shutting laws by being a 'club' although it might just be a new thing since 2009. I'm thinking theres bound to be one or two around the tube stations that show the match, I'm sure pubs would be eager to so they can charge their fiver a pint.

Thanks alot, its just taking the chance theres a few coming down with me on the coach that havent got tickets and obviously a place is needed to watch it otherwise its a bit pointless ha! if you hear of anywhere let me know, hopefully green man will see the lure of money and stay open ha!

Yeah same with me, Ive got my ticket but the fambo want to come down with me. I think its just a case of how far away, from the ground, do you need to go. I will continue to look into it and if I get anything concrete I'll let you know.

Looks like I'm going to stay local. Not worth the hassle heading towards Wembley if you can't even guarantee seeing the game. Shame, it's always good to be surrounded by fellow Blues and that doesn't happen very often in London. I notice ESCLA (membership 1,100) got 10 tickets from the club so I'm wondering if they're going to organise a venue for a load of Blues to come together.

Good shout re: ESCLA. Keep us posted here if you hear anything, cheers.
I don't know whay they dont do some world cup styley 'fan parks'
I suppose the answers obvious really but it's a shame though.

I am staying by liverpool st. station on the friday night. That is about 20 mins away from wembley...Reckon we are gonna get on it round there and only get up the ground with about half hour till ko. I went silverspoons for both semi and final in 2009 but think it has been shut down now...not surprised like they were just buyin crates from local offies and selling them on!

Could do with avoiding them lot really...maybe we should pick a tube station near wembley and all head there?
