Is that the guy who had an Italian sounding name? I think he played non league for a few years, then moved to Wales on a pretty big contract and bankrupted the Welsh club. There was a documentary a year or two ago about him if it's the one I'm thinking of.

I think it was a Brazilian guy in the 70's. Just switching clubs and always feigning injury when told to warm up for an actual game.

I think I know who you mean Muggins/SMF.

There was an article on him in the four four two about a year ago - he'd fake injury for ages then when he eventually had to play he'd get himself sent off within the first ten minutes to hide the fact he wasn't good enough. Think he was Brazillian. Scumbag and a genius at the same time.
